Palo Alto Networks and Deloitte have expanded their alliance to offer AI-powered cyber security solutions across Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ), in addition to other regions.

The partnership extends Palo Alto Networks’ and Deloitte’s alliance to manage multiple cyber security products with platformisation – a shift towards integrated solutions for security and operational efficiency.

Palo Alto Networks director of channel sales and alliances A/NZ Janet Docherty told ARN platformisation has emerged as the most effective approach to mitigating cyber threats and operational complexities caused by disconnected solutions.

“This partnership allows both organisations to leverage AI-powered technologies to address the increasing sophistication of cyberattacks,” she claimed.

“Deloitte’s vast global network and industry-specific expertise make it the ideal partner for delivering these AI-driven cyber security solutions to organisations looking to enhance their security posture while reducing operational complexity.”

This alliance brings platformisation to A/NZ organisations, enabling a shift away from fragmented cyber security solutions to an integrated, unified platform. This helps reduce operational complexities and close potential security gaps.

According to Docherty, the vendor is targeting industries facing complex cyber security challenges, such as finance, healthcare, government and critical infrastructure.

However, she also said this partnership isn’t exclusive and won’t impact existing ones.

“While Deloitte is a key strategic partner, we continue to collaborate with other partners to create differentiated offerings,” she claimed.

“We encourage our other GSI [global systems integrators] and channel partners to work with us on differentiated offers in the AI segment, using Precision AI technology from Palo Alto Networks.”

The alliance expansion also covers other regions like Europe, Middle East and Africa and Asia Pacific and Japan in addition to A/NZ.
