IBM, HCL and VMware software maintenance vendor Origina has appointed Jay Tuckey and Corinne Campbell to strengthen its position in the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region.

As the vendor’s head of partnerships and alliances for the APJ region, Tuckey comes to Origina from HCL Software after being its Asia Pacific (APAC) sales director for the last two years.

In his new role, Tuckey will focus on growing the vendor’s partner networks in the region.

“Jay brings a wealth of experience and a unique perspective, having worked closely with both vendors and channel partners,” said Origina CEO and founder Tomás O’Leary. “His passion for helping customers extend the life of their software investments while balancing cost pressures makes him a perfect fit to lead our partnership initiatives in APJ.”

Before his new position at Origina, Tuckey worked at Ingram Micro, IBM and Benchmarketing.

As for Campbell, she enters her new role of enterprise account executive for SoftwareOne for Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) after working at Origina for the last two years as business development and commercial executive for A/NZ.

Her new position will see her focus on an exclusive partnership with SoftwareOne A/NZ, operating as an extended member of the enterprise software and cloud procurement vendor’s team.

Prior to Origina, Campbell worked at Rimini Street, Clinic to Cloud, SugarCRM, Vocera Communications, The Database Department, Data#3, Powerlan, Volante Technologies, Telesystems and Network Integration Systems.

“Corinne’s deep industry knowledge and proven track record in business development make her a vital asset to our partnership with SoftwareOne,” O’Leary added. “Her contributions will ensure that we continue to provide world-class maintenance and support to our customers while strengthening our presence in the region.”
