Wholesale telco Devoli has taken first place in Deloitte’s Masters of Growth awards for 2024 after logging 478 per cent revenue growth over the last five years.
Part of Deloitte’s annual Fast 50 programme, the award highlights companies that have transitioned from high-growth startups to enduring market leaders, showcasing consistent growth and strategic excellence over a sustained period.
Pasture management technology startup Halter led overall with 1539 per cent growth.
Also winning a place among the 50 were retail security technology developer Auror, technology consultancy Verity Consulting, professional services automation specialist Projectworks, tech education provider Mission Ready, online accounting firm HNRY and cloud and managed services company Figure8.
Devoli said it had focused on automation and simplicity to enable scalable, flexible solutions for its wholesale and businesses and consumers including managed service providers, IT resellers, and carriers.
“This achievement reflects the dedication of our team, great partnerships with our customers and suppliers and our relentless pursuit of smarter, more efficient telecommunications solutions,” said Karl Rosnell, Devoli CEO.
Sustained revenue growth, industry impact and innovative contributions to telecommunications were key factors in securing the gong.
Devoli’s success was rooted in its ability to adapt to market demands and deliver value that empowered customers, Rosnell said.
“We’re committed to pushing boundaries, and we see this recognition as a launchpad for even greater impact,” he said.
Deloitte private partner and Fast 50 lead James Arlidge said New Zealand’s pioneering spirit and reputation for pushing the boundaries across a variety of sectors remained strong despite current economic challenges.
“The growth this year’s Fast 50 businesses have achieved over the past three years is a tribute to their agility, innovation and self-belief,” Arlidge said.
“The variety of industries in the index this year also reflects the depth and breadth of the entrepreneurial talent we have here in Aotearoa.”
