Technical services contracting company BSA has joined forces with specialist end-to-end engineering and services provider UGL to bid for an NBN Co field services contract.
According to a statement released to the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), BSA claimed that it would, together with UGL, combine both companies’ strengths and capabilities to provide a “holistic solution”.
The contracting company said it has delivered services for NBN Co for the last nine years, which includes the roll out and maintenance of the National Broadband Network (NBN).
“BSA has been fully aligned with the [NBN Co] strategy to drive a better digital future for Australia,” the contracting company claimed. “In doing so, BSA has built great expertise and service excellence in delivering service/network activation, assurance and maintenance activities.”
Additionally, BSA said UGL has a track record in delivering fixed wireless, satellite and complex build works for NBN Co.
The contracting company also said that the current estimated timeline sees the contract starting after September 2025 and, as such, is not expected to materially impact its FY25 forecasts and expectations.
