Numerous heavy hitters in the channel have been recognised for their rapid growth in Deloitte’s Tech Fast 50 program for 2024.
The ranking recognises the top 50 fast growing tech companies based on percentage revenue growth over a three-year period, with this year’s recipients achieving an average growth rate of 658 per cent.
Deloitte Tech Fast 50 program lead partner Josh Tanchel said the companies in this year’s ranking in particular have showcased “their ability to thrive amidst adversity”.
“This year’s focus has shifted towards sustainable growth performance, with operational discipline and positive free cashflows becoming increasingly key metrics for valuations,” he said.
Within the top 50, Sydney-headquartered consultancy Tranzformd ranked sixth. In terms of channel players, following this was the Perth-headquartered iCatalyst, which came 15th, and then managed security services provider RightSec was next in 20th.
In the second half of the rankings, Indigenous Australian ICT and cyber security provider Baidam was ranked 31st, Accelerate ITS came 44th, Catalytic IT was 48th and Arinco came 49th.
Additionally, in the Rising Star category, specialist technology consultancy Software@Scale was ranked first with a growth rate of 2,356 per cent.
Meanwhile, software-as-a-service and hybrid cloud systems integrator Restack came third, sporting a growth rate of 728 per cent.
First place in the Tech Fast 50 ranking went to Honey Insurance with a growth rate of 5,336 per cent, followed by property technology platform Prop Hero with 2,403 per cent and business-to-business business expense payments platform pay.com.au with 2,256 per cent.
In the leadership and enterprise growth category, Swoop came out on top with a growth rate of 72 per cent and the Tech Female Leader award went to digital financial services company Zip’s CEO and managing director, Cynthia Scott.
