US-headquartered security operations platform Anomali has hired former Fastly channel leader Antony Prasad to lead its own channel efforts across Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ).

As the vendor’s first regional channel director for APJ, Prasad will direct Anomali’s channel go-to-market strategy and sales strategy in the region from Singapore.

He joins Anomali with 24 years of IT experience, with his last role at Fastly as its technical sales and channel leader across Southeast Asia and India for web, API, media, AI/ML, CDN, cloud, networks and cyber security during the last two years.

Prior to this, he worked at VMware, Ekahau, BT, Verizon Business, Blue Coast Systems, Riverbed Technology and Cisco. He also had a six-month stint at Temasek Polytechnic teaching a diploma of Infocom over a six-month stint.

“Antony’s extensive experience and proven track record in building successful channel partnerships will be invaluable for Anomali, as we continue to expand our presence in APAC,” said Micheal McCollough, Anomali global vice president for channel sales.

“His leadership will be critical in strengthening our relationships with partners and driving strategic growth, and we are thrilled to welcome him to the team.”
