1. Cloud Data Centers and Server Equipment: Carnegie Mellon University, Microsoft and the University of Washington have developed a way to identify older components that can be re-used in servers without affecting operations, the IEEE reported. The re-used components, known as GreenSKUs, can run in Microsoft’s Azure cloud service, the report noted.

2. Healthcare Guide Book: The National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH) has introduced a guidebook for climate action and sustainability in healthcare.

1. United States – Hurricane Recovery Costs: Duke Energy is seeking to recover roughly $1.1 billion to cover recovery costs associated with hurricanes Debby, Helene and Milton, the utility said.
