BlackBerry Cybersecurity has signed a distribution agreement with Dicker Data for Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ), bringing its suite of solutions to the region.

Through the deal, Dicker Data will add the vendor’s products to its portfolio, including Cylance AI, BlackBerry SecuSUITE, BlackBerry UEM (Unified Endpoint Management) and BlackBerry AtHoc.

Additionally, Dicker Data engineers will be trained and certified to be able to provide expert and specialised support in A/NZ.

“Through this partnership, we are offering our reseller partners access to a range of world-class solutions and services that address more market sectors — from military requiring top-secret communications to SMEs looking for enterprise-grade tools, skilled cyber experts on demand or incident management for IT outages,” said Dicker Data executive director and COO Vlad Mitnovetski.

“We expect our partnership with BlackBerry to create significant value for our partners looking to grow their cyber security businesses, increase service revenues and add value through additional services.”

Meanwhile, BlackBerry Cybersecurity senior director for Asia Pacific channels Maria Pinna-Kardasis added that the vendor believes the partnership will help A/NZ resellers “support governments and businesses, large and small, to bolster security defences while creating new growth opportunities for the channel”.

Dicker Data’s deal with BlackBerry Cybersecurity comes days after it signed an agreement with Equinix for Australia and over three months after its deal with Laser for New Zealand.
