Enterprise microsegmentation company ColorTokens has announced a slew of new additions to the Asia Pacific (APAC) leadership team.

This includes Daniel Churches as sales director for Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ), Satyen Desai as vice president of APAC, and Benjamin Ong as regional sales director for ASEAN.

The new hires will help the organisation achieve its growth ambitions in the region. Its target is to increase customers by 40 per cent year-over-year and establish a 100 per cent partner-driven go-to-market program.

It will also bring on experienced leadership as it sets itself up for sustained regional expansion.

Satyen Desai, VP APAC at ColorTokens, said the company specialises in making organisations “breach-ready” by halting the lateral spread of ransomware and malware within intricate network infrastructures using its ColorTokens Xshield platform.

He told ARN the company has been in A/NZ for over four years and is working with six partners across both countries as part of its strategic channel approach.

“We work with leading partners across the markets and industries we operate in. This includes NTT, Tech Mahindra, The Missing Link and others,” he said. “We will hold with this number for now. It provides us with good coverage.”

According to Desai, ColorTokens are focusing on “deepening these partner relationships rather than widening the group”.

“It’s about investing in the success for each of our partners and that’s about a deeper relationship and a deeper engagement model,” he said. “We want partners in the strictest sense – those with us for long-term success and growth, not associates or acquaintances.”

ColorTokens works with specialised partners to ensure value across various industry verticals.

We will work with our partners, building risk assessment tools whereby they will be able to consult and advise clients on risk reduction and breach hardening with microsegmentation,” Desai added. “The goal will be a breach preparedness and response plan which will address technical as well as organisational drivers such as GRC, legislation and insurance obligations.”
