Security vendor SentinelOne has named NZ-based Advantage as its APJ partner of the year with Australia’s McGrathNicol taking the gong for incident response and SALTT Technologies A/NZ partner of the year.

Recognising the exceptional achievements and contributions of its partners, the awards were made during SentinelOne’s annual APJ Partner Summit held in Khao Lak, Thailand.

“With their deep understanding of the cyber challenges that companies face and expertise in deploying SentinelOne, our partners are helping thousands of customers across the region navigate an increasingly complex threat landscape and protect their future,” said Joe McPhillips, AVP of channel sales at SentinelOne.

The winners were:

2024 APJ MSSP partner of the year – CoreCloud Technology
2024 APJ incident response partner of the year – McGrathNicol (Australia)
2024 APJ emerging partner of the year – SSNC Co (South Korea)
2024 ANZ partner of the year – SALTT Technologies (Australia)
2024 ASEAN partner of the year – PT Astra Graphia Information Technology (Indonesia)
2024 Japan partner of the year – Tokyo Electron Device (Japan)
2024 Korea partner of the year – PAGO Networks (South Korea)
2024 SAARC partner of the year – Softcell Technologies Global (India)

In addition, Protechmanize Solutions won APJ strategic deal of the year, Nick Long from Orro was recognised as APJ top salesperson of the year and Glenn Ang from Exclusive Networks Philippines was named APJ top sales engineer of the year.

Advantage also signed up for the vendor’s Platform Pro service located in a new virtual data centre in Australia, enhancing its delivery of extended detection and response (XDR) solutions that underpinned better cybersecurity. 

Darren Hopkins, partner at McGrathNicol Advisory, said the firm’s award recognised its cyber and incident response team’s commitment to helping clients minimise risks and mitigate threats in an ever-evolving cyber security landscape.

Jason Duerden, regional director A/NZ at SentinelOne, said as cyberattacks become more widespread and complex, it was imperative for organisations to have access to advanced, intelligence-based solutions.
