IT project delivery company Avec has appointed Alex Gray as general manager of its New Zealand business, replacing Sam Collins.
With over 25 years’ experience working across the health, financial services, utilities and manufacturing industries, Gray has been responsible for delivering projects across data and analytics, ERP, data migrations and more.
He will be responsible for driving the growth of Avec, which already boasts an expansive list of successful local customer engagements.
Gray said he was looking forward to working with Avec’s wide range of customers and expanding its footprint in the New Zealand market.
“The team has a good foundation here and it’s exciting exploring what we can deliver together,” Gray said.
Avec managing director Dennis Grant said it had been a successful year for the Avec business as the company continued to invest and grow its brand and customer base.
“Alex has already connected with many of our customers on projects and I know will be a great asset to them with his wealth of experience,” he said.
Avec, which expanded into New Zealand in January, boasts decades of “agnostic” project management experience and the backing of one of the world’s leading digital and tech people businesses.
