Dell Technologies will continue to innovate across its broad portfolio through to 2025, with three areas of focus that includes, artificial intelligence (AI) and the Dell Technologies AI factory, its portfolio of AI embedded PCs and finally the continued customer investment in its hybrid cloud strategy.
During Dicker Data’s TechX, Dell’s general manager and sales leader, Shant Soghomonian said it will be highlighting AI, multi-cloud strategy, storage and the upcoming Windows refresh.
He was particularly excited about industry trends, breakout sessions and partner opportunities.
“From a partner perspective we have invested in making partner ready in these three areas. Firstly, at Dell Technologies World we announced the AI focus partner network, making partners AI ready including access to demo labs, product road maps and training,” he said.
“When it comes to hybrid cloud, we have continued to innovate in the Dell Technologies offerings with APEX. We continue to make these solutions available to partners from day one and continue to invest in programs to drive adoption.”
According to Soghomonian, partners can expect from Dell Technologies at TechX to not only be focused on the announcements made at Dell Technologies world around the AI factory.
Dell is also focused around its multi cloud strategy, as well as storage and end user devices, with AI and the windows refresh coming up, it will be all about the end user device.
“At Dell Technologies, we’re really excited about being part of Dicker Data’s TechX events again this year,” he said.
Soghomonian believes there’s a lot of exciting opportunities in the market for its partners and customers.
“AI obviously continues to be the hot topic at the moment, multi cloud and the data opportunity that resides with that,” he said.
“Then finally, from an end user compute perspective, the refresh cycle with the Windows refresh with the Windows end of life coming up, as well as the AI PC trend that we’re seeing at the moment in the marketplace.”
What Soghomonian is most excited about is Dell Technologies’ solutions that focus on AI multicloud and end user compute.
“The capabilities that the Dicker Data team have built enable partners to go and solve customer problems,” he said.
“This is our fourth time and actually, I’ve personally been involved for a number of years attending the Tech X events.”
Dicker Data has invested in strong capabilities across the Dell Technologies portfolio, especially in AI, hybrid cloud, edge and workforce transformation.
Soghomonian believes that although AI is a big focus for its customers, the biggest priority continues to be the support customers require in their hybrid cloud strategy, modernising their private cloud environments as well as helping them manage their data in preparation for AI.
“Dell Technologies partners play a critical role in consulting, designing, building and, in many instances, running these environments,” he said.
“As a trusted partner, Dell will continue to innovate in AI, hybrid cloud, edge and workforce transformation with the commitment that we will continue to innovate and invest in these areas.”
