Distributor Westcon-Comstor has expanded its Tech Xpert support initiative to the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, including Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ).
The initiative is aimed at providing a community of professionals with the foundation for peer-to-peer technical support and to drive innovation, enabling them to share ideas and best practices in the channel.
Members of the initiative gain access to training, insights, events, networking and point-based participation rewards.
“Our focus on building this community is not to drive sales, but to encourage peer-to-peer knowledge sharing within the channel, as communities provide richer insights into customer needs,” said Patrick Aronson, Westcon-Comstor executive vice president for APAC and chief marketing officer.
“Peer learning with access to technical expertise is crucial for collaboration and advancement, so technical professionals are able to continuously learn, solve problems and stay ahead in the rapidly evolving technology landscape.”
The APAC launch of Tech Xpert, in addition to A/NZ, also covers Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, India and Hong Kong.
It also comes two years after its initial launch in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) in 2022, which currently consists of over 3,000 members.
