Melbourne-based digital consulting firm DB Results is expanding its Queensland presence following the appointment of two senior executives to help lead the charge.

Gil Winters, currently serving as regional executive at DB Results, will be spearheading the expansion into Queensland.

His expertise extends to enterprise application development, mobile app development, and strategic IT advisory services, with a strong focus on the government, financial services, telco, and utilities sectors. In addition to these responsibilities, Gil will oversee the delivery of all initiatives in the Queensland region, ensuring DB Results’ continued growth and impact.

“Scott and I are thrilled to lead DB Results’ expansion into Queensland, a region brimming with opportunities for growth and innovation,” Winters said.

“The demand for advanced IT solutions across key sectors like government, financial services, telecommunications, and utilities is immense, and I’m excited to bring our expertise in digital transformations, enterprise application development, and strategic IT services to support this dynamic market.”

Scott Sheldon, joined DB Results in August as delivery executive, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a distinguished career in IT consulting and transformation delivery.

With over two decades at Accenture, Sheldon has gained invaluable experience across various industries and geographies, delivering significant outcomes for global clients.

“I’m excited to join DB Results and bring my experience in IT consulting and transformation to support our expansion into Queensland. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to innovative projects and help drive the company’s growth in the Queensland region,” Sheldon said.

DB Results chief delivery officer Matt Nidd said expanding into Queensland marked an exciting chapter for the company as it seeks to grow its talent pool in the state.

“Their extensive experience and proven leadership in technology delivery and consulting will be crucial in helping us achieve our strategic goals and deliver exceptional value to our clients across the region,” Nidd said.

The company has pinpointed Brisbane as a growth hub across various sectors, skills and talent, anticipating growth in government, financial services, utilities and healthcare sectors and expects its Queensland office to quickly grow to the same size as its NSW and Victoria businesses within three years.

DB Results has had a footprint in the state since 2022 with its partnership with Queensland Government and Cherbourg Council to create digital jobs for local Indigenous and disadvantaged job seekers.
