Distributor Synnex New Zealand has inked a partnership with Japan-based networking hardware and software manufacturer Allied Telesis to deliver connectivity and security systems for enterprises.
The partnership enhances Taiwan-based Synnex’s networking portfolio by integrating Allied Telesis’ range of switches, access points, routers, firewalls, media converters and security and management software.
“By partnering with Allied Telesis, we’re able to offer enterprise-level networking solutions that significantly lower the total cost of ownership, giving our partners the agility they need to stay competitive in a rapidly evolving market,” said Johnson Ko, sales and marketing manager at Synnex NZ.
The investment allowed Synnex to serve the commercial market with greater flexibility, focusing on organic growth while providing partners with transparency and quicker turnaround times, Ko said.
Wayne Pertzel, A/NZ regional director at Allied Telesis, said the timing of the deal was important because the global wireless network connectivity market was projected to reach US$199.3 billion by 2027, according to analyst firm Marketsandmarkets.
The partnership with Synnex was an opportunity to establish a best-in-class channel model locally while expanding Allied Telesis’ presence in the corporate IT market, Pertzel said.
“This collaboration is a natural fit with Synnex’s service offerings and enables us to bring innovative, cost-effective, and premium Japanese-engineered networking solutions to New Zealand businesses,” he said.
