Interactive has been chosen to provide a range of IT projects to Homestyle Aged Care, an eldercare provider in Victoria.
The projects will include consolidated end-user support for 10 homes, a support office, and over 1,500 Homestyle employees.
Homestyle has been grappling with the need for stringent data requirements and compliance, adding an extra layer of complexity to an already challenging environment in the aged care industry.
Peter Gunn, Homestyle’s chief information officer, said ensuring the consistent running of its technology securely was an important factor when choosing a service provider.
“We needed to protect residents’ data, ensuring that it is stored securely and is cared for by a team passionate about more than just technology,” he said.
Homestyle will also use Interactive Anywhere to support its cloud migration, on-site support, and regulatory alignment.
Interactive’s senior business development manager for cloud, managed services, and cyber security, Tim Sparks, said aged care providers like Homestyle have particular requirements for IT systems.
“This focus on high-quality care combined with the challenging regulatory environment that encompasses aged care means that Homestyle requires a flexible approach to IT,” he said. “We’re really pleased to partner with Homestyle to help manage their IT environment.”
