CSO Group and xAmplify have moved closer to finalising the merger of their combined business with an update on a unified brand name, MARQ1, and with Michael Simkovic as its CEO.
This updated identity will launch when the companies complete their strategic merger, which was first announced in June this year and is expected to be completed in October.
The newly-branded company will be led by CSO Group CEO Michael Simkovic.
He will be responsible for the group’s overall strategic direction, working closely with xAmplify CEO Wayne Gowland, who will lead operations and sales as chief operating officer (COO).
Simkovic said the new identity signifies a “shared commitment”.
“Our new management structure is a testament to the great leadership talent within MARQ1 – and will help seamlessly integrate and streamline both sides of our business as we come together to create something truly unique in the Australian market,” he said.
MARQ1 reflects both organisations’ goal of leaving a lasting mark on their customers by solving real-world challenges and delivering a powerful impact on each industry they touch.
Additionally, Howard Fyffe who was the chief revenue officer of both CSO Group and xAmplify, will continue his role on a national level for MARQ1. He will report to Gowland and oversee engagement with state government and private sector clients.
xAmplify’s COO Tom Scicluna will be the chief revenue officer, with overall responsibility for the federal public sector and ACT clients.
Daniel Keys, former department of health CIO and xAmplify head of innovation of futures, will take on a new leadership role at MARQ1 as head of strategy – AI and automation.
Hank Clark, CSO Group chief strategy officer, will step into the new role of head of strategy – cyber and intelligence.
Wayne Gowland said the company has ambitious goals for its growth.
