Check Point has recognised several local channel partners for building secure business environments for their customers during its Asia Pacific Partner Conference 2024, held last week.
The top award, 2024 Partner of the Year, was given to NEC Australia for its focus on State and Federal Governments and specialisation in the health sector.
NEC Australia and Check Point have also aligned their sales, presales, post-sales, marketing and executive teams through a joint go-to-market plan to “mutually grow the business”.
Dicker Data won Growth Distributor of the Year 2024 for growing new business with Check Point in the first half of 2024. According to Check Point, this growth was driven by partner enablement, including growth in new managed security service partners, successful onboarding new partners, stocking Quantum Spark, and innovative marketing strategies targeting enterprise, mid-market, and small-to-medium partners.
NTT Ltd clinched the GSI Partner of the Year award for its “exceptional performance and remarkable return to growth in the first half of 2024,” achieved by regional office in A/NZ and Taiwan.
Sydney-based Red Education was awarded the Authorised Training Centre Partner of the Year for its commitment to cyber security education. According to Check Point, the award highlights Red Education’s role in addressing the cyber security skills gap.
Check Point’s head of channels APAC, Pankaj Narayan, said its top business partners across the region delivered unparalleled business value by adopting its 3Cs of security — comprehensive, consolidated and collaborative.
“Through an integrated partnership with Check Point, these award-winning partners are not only driving technology adoption but also ensuring ongoing customer engagement, particularly in areas like cloud and mobile security,” he said. “Their efforts are vital in today’s digital landscape, where cyber security is more critical than ever.”
