NetApp has expanded its support for VMware products to help local customers and channel partners.
This includes updated support for VMware Cloud Foundation, capabilities for Azure VMware solution, enhanced VM optimisation features for NetApp Cloud insights, giving mutual customers the ability configure their IT environments appropriately.
The storage vendor is also working closely with local customers and channel partners through VMWare optimisation workshops, to help them understand and enhance their virtualisation environments using advanced tools.
This will ensure they can handle VMware workloads regardless of size or complexity of their operations.
Chris Gondek, manager of solutions engineering at NetApp A/NZ, told ARN that they are having a lot of conversations with local VMware customers and partners on how to use NetApp technologies.
“We’re currently helping organisations to understand their current state, before planning their future state, so they’re able to make an informed decision.”
These offerings follow last month’s release of NetApp BlueXP disaster recovery service.
This now provides workflows to design and execute automated disaster recovery plans for VMware workloads across hybrid cloud environments with added support for VMFS datastores.
