Integrator RBC Technology Group, has migrated to a private cloud environment with the help of Interactive for control over its systems and to keep data safe.
Interactive will also provide centre hosting, multi-cloud and cyber security services.
The move to a private cloud was due to RBC’s managed services operations matured, meeting diverse customer needs required a more robust and adaptable infrastructure.
Without adequate technology to meet this growth, the managed service provider’s risked stalling its growth and disrupting seamless service delivery to its client base.
RBC’s long-standing relationship with Interactive, which goes back to 2020, played a role in being chosen for this task.
Back then, both organisations formed strategic alliances to strengthen cloud capabilities, defend against cyber threats and offer a comprehensive range of services.
Interactive’s ability to offer support and proactive solutions became a critical asset, addressing these scaling challenges head-on for RBC’s needs.
Onsite engineering support from Interactive ensured smooth transitions and uninterrupted service.
The new infrastructure allows RBC to scale effortlessly and is supported by Interactive’s Australian-based data centre.
In addition to the migration, Interactive will also provide centre hosting, multi-cloud and cyber security services.
Luke Bartlett, solutions director at RBC, said the project wasn’t just about moving to a private cloud but also about the engineering, architecture and support services Interactive provided.
“We transitioned our BPM Automation platform, docs2me, from public cloud to private cloud with Interactive,” he said. “This shift gave us full control over tenancy, workload management and access.
“The move has helped us navigate the hybrid cloud landscape more efficiently than we could have on our own”.
The partnership also grants the RBC Sydney team access to Interactive’s offices and on-site expert support.
