OneStep Group has pushed its presence further into Queensland with the acquisition of C5 Technology, a Brisbane-based IT services company.
This acquisition will help OneStep Group meet the growing demand for secure, scalable, and technology services.
The combined entity will provide access to an expanded service portfolio and offerings that will span across managed IT, cloud and cybersecurity.
It will also include national support infrastructure, with service delivery capabilities across multiple locations.
The partnership also leverages OneStep Group’s relationships with technology providers such as Microsoft, Cisco, and Fortinet.
C5’s founder, Mark Osborne and CFO, Ashika Lala will join OneStep Group’s Executive Team.
“The consolidated company will have a very strong set of capabilities,” said Osborne. “We are excited to be the Queensland presence for the wider group, which in turn enables a positive step change in capability and scalability for C5.”
OneStep Group’s chief executive, Andrew Field, said C5 was a strong cultural fit and brought significant further technical talent to the company.
“We are very pleased that the C5 Technology team will be joining our group,” Field said, “They are highly talented and give our group a strong presence in Brisbane.”
This latest acquisition gives OneStep Group a national presence to service its client base.
In 2023 it acquired ES2, a WA-based cyber security and Microsoft consulting business.
Since then, OneStep has grown from 50 to over 200 team members.
